You cannot come to Florence without seeing and learning about this incredible statue made by Michelangelo. Like in all the works by Michelangelo, there is a fascinating story behind the making of “David”, made when Michelangelo was only 26 years old.
On this tour we will visit the Accademia Museum, where David is located, and we will also see and talk about other statues by Michelangelo. The Accademia Museum also holds the statues called “the Prisoners” and “St. Matthew”.
After the visit to the museum, we will do a short city walk to see places in Florence related to “David”.
