On this tour you will get a good overview of the history of Florence. You will see the famous bridge “Ponte Vecchio”, the open sculpture museum “Piazza della Signoria”, the Duomo area (from outside), and the first sumptuous home built for the Medicis in Florence, today called Palazzo Medici Riccardi (from outside).
We will talk about Brunelleschi’s Dome, Ghiberti’s Bronze doors called “The Gates of Paradise”, the Medicis, the Renaissance and much more.
This tour also includes a visit to the Accademia museum to see Michelangelo’s “David” and the powerful Michelangelo statues called the ”prisoners”.
